Physiotherapist MSc Sport & Exercise Medicine

Vicky is a senior Spanish physiotherapist, qualified from Zaragoza University. She has also completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise medicine in Madrid  and undertaken post graduate training including in Pilates, Dry Needling and Neurodynamics. She has been working in private clinics and hospitals and with sporting teams.

Vicky specialises in Musculoskeletal and Sports injuries. She is a “hands on” physiotherapist using a variety of manual therapy, soft tissues techniques completed with tailored rehabilitation programs, clinical Pilates, dry needling, strapping and taping.

Vicky loves to be part of the rehabilitation process following an injury to help patients to achieve their goals and regain their previous level of activity as soon as possible.

She is interested in a variety of sports discipline and has a special interest in triathlon, running and cycling injuries. Vicky is very keen on working with the athletes in prevention programs. She is a competitive triathlon athlete herself and understands what injury prevention and performance mean.

She continues to keep up-to-date with the latest scientific research and has recently published her Master’s Thesis in a research magazine in which she developed an 8-week plyometric exercise  program aimed at preventing injuries during triathlons.

She is also a specialist in clinical Pilates, aiming to help the patients to gain awareness, strength and improve their posture.

Outside of work Vicky is a competitive runner and cyclist , plays the guitar and enjoys travelling.
