Physiotherapist BSc (Physio)
Lucy qualified as a physiotherapist from Cardiff University in 2014. Since then she has worked in a variety of treatment settings and roles within physiotherapy including working for the NHS, private practice and sporting teams.
Within the NHS she has experience working in orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, respiratory, and elderly care rehabilitation. Lucy now specialise as a Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist and Post-operative rehabilitation.
Lucy has a specialist interest in back pain, upper limbs and lower limbs conditions. She enjoys working with all sports related injuries from a young age to seniors and whether you are an elite or recreational athlete She focuses on helping patients to achieve their goals and regain full function and performance as soon as possible.
She uses many treatment techniques including Manual techniques, bespoke strength and conditioning Exercise prescription, Movement screening, Pilates approaches exercises, Electrotherapy, Strapping and Kinesiotaping.
Lucy has a worked with several sporting teams including Rugby, Athletics and Netball. She was physiotherapist for the Welsh netball team and has attended the Netball Europe competition and World Netball Youth Cup championships in Botswana with the Welsh netball team.
Outside of work Lucy enjoys playing netball, running and travelling.
