Physiotherapist HCPC CSP

Carla graduated in Physiotherapy in 2007 from Coimbra Health School, in Portugal. Since then, she has worked extensively with women’s health (ante and post natal conditions, stress/urgency incontinence, core dysfunctions), musculoskeletal, orthopaedics and neurological conditions, respiratory/chest physiotherapy (adults and older children) and paediatric conditions (specialised physiotherapy for babies, children and young people – neuromotor development, gait and postural issues, torticollis, chest problems, among others).
Highlighting the functional recovery, Carla believes in a holistic and personalised approach and in the empowerment of every single patient, combining both manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercise programmes.
She has predominantly a private practice background but has also worked in school units for children with special needs.

In her spare time, Carla is passionate about travelling and she loves to cycle, enjoy nature, to listen to music and to gather with family and friends.
