Ante-Natal Classes

Ready, Steady....

Ante-natal classes can be started 14 weeks into pregnancy and continued up to birth. Specific exercises are taught and practiced in small classes to regain and maintain general physical condition. Advice is also given regarding labour and birthing positions, breathing and...

The emphasis is on fun, teamwork and sharing of the experience. All classes are lead by physiotherapists with experience in women's health to ensure all exercises are safe. appropriate and effective. Discussions are held on back care, pelvic floor, breathing and relaxation. There are a maximum of 8 women in each class so that we can give you individual attention. You can bring you babies in their pushchairs as we have extra help on hand to pick up/soothe noisy babies!

If you purchase a course of ante-natal classes and then have your baby, you can use the remainder of the course on post-natal classes!

How can you enrol ?

When can you start?

Ante-natal classes can be started from 14 weeks and you can continue until you have your baby.

What to wear?

Comfortable clothing, track suit bottoms or leggings and socks. The class is done without shoes on and you may wish to take a towel to lie on. We also advise you to bring a bottle of water.

Charges
We ask you to pay for 5 or 10 classes in advance. You then decide as you go along which classes you would like to attend on a weekly basis to suit you. We ask that you give 24 hours notice if you are unable to come to a class which you have booked to allow someone else to take your place otherwise we will charge you the cost of that session.
