Jack Brockway is fast becoming a top tri-athlete having started just last year. His best performance so far has been first place in the notorious 'tough guy' competition which is an SAS organised competition designed to find the fittest and toughtest competitor . At 28 Jack works hard to keep at peak fitness and typically trains six days per week and up to two sessions per day. |
 |
A typical training session might be made up by a 40km cycle ride, a 1.5km swim and a 10km run or sprint exercises. However training is very varied and is made to improve all aspects of his sport.
Jack's original sport was kite surfing and boxing but tri-athlons are now the chosen field for him.

Kite Surfing
NOT for the faint hearted |
Jack originally came to Physio for All with a knee injury which was soon improved however it was then his cycling posture which came up for some treatment! Jack had been trying to get a dynamic curve to improve air resistance and a session with the video camera soon showed that his back was not in the correct posture for optimal performance. After a few sessions with our sports physio the posture improved and that should take off a a few valuable seconds from his cycling. |
